Online Banking FAQ

  1. How do I get into Online Banking?
    Type
    www.bankofripley.com  or www.bankoftipton.com in lowercase letters in the address bar of your browser.  You must enter your NetTeller ID and Password, and then click "GO" to begin banking. If you are having difficulties contact the Internet Banking Administrator (IBA) at service@bankofripley.com.
     
  2. What do I do if I forget my NetTeller ID and password?
    Contact the Internet Banking Administrator by sending an email to
    service@bankofripley.com or by calling (731) 635-1230. Be prepared to give an account number and your social security number to the IBA for identification purposes. The IBA will  reset your password.
     
  3. When I try to access Online banking all I can see is gibberish.
    You may need to upgrade your browser and/or encryption. You can access the Internet banking page by typing
    www.bankofripley.com in lowercase letters in the address bar of your browser, then signing into  “Online Banking”.  Once the NetTeller page apprears. click on"Browser Requirements” on the website for specific instructions on how to fulfill the requirements for Internet banking.
     
  4. My login to Online banking is denied.
    Contact the Internet Banking Administrator by sending an email to
    service@bankofripley.com or by calling (731) 635-1230. Be prepared to give an account number and your social security number to the IBA for identification purposes. The IBA will  reset your password.
     
  5. What happens if I don’t log out of Online Banking?
    NetTeller has a 10-minute time out feature, so if the system is not used for 10 minutes, you will be automatically disconnected and will need to log back in to continue using the system.
  6. How late in the evening can I make transfers using Onine Banking?
    Although funds can be transferred any time day or night, Bank of Ripley’s Funds Availability Policy applies. Any transactions conducted before 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday will be available on the next business day.
     
  7. How can you guarantee the security of my banking information?
    We use the most advanced security systems available to protect your information. A few of these are listed below:
    - Your banking information never travels the Internet without encryption protection.
    - Login sessions have a time-out limit and after the limit is reached you are required to login again.
    - PIN guessing is recognized and reported.
